Welcome to the glimpse of Jasmine Ancheta‘s world of creativity. Jasmine is an artist, author and creative entrepreneur from the Philippines. She is a firm believer of her mission to encourage people in expressing their authentic selves while enjoying their creative pursuit through calligraphy and designs.
Started during high school, Jasmine is consistently receiving good feedbacks and compliments regarding her writing style and penmanship, been voted as the Class Secretary ever since and can imitate handwriting of her friends. 😅 She used to go to computer shop to print different text fonts and used it for reference then recreated them manually.
2013 when Jasmine undergo quarter-life crisis. After two years of wondering and wandering, she posted her first ever artwork online: CREATE with a caption “What you CREATE doesn’t have to be perfect.”
Since then, she became a content creator in her Facebook Page because she already knew right there and then that she’s up for something special.
During her life journey and discoveries, it led her to a path of creativity. While pursuing her passion consistently since 2015, doors and windows of opportunity opened to her which made her to become:
1. Author
Jasmine taught Modern Brush Calligraphy with over 70 participants which made her decide to put into writing what she’s been teaching. The Art of Soulful Writing (e-book version) is created to help aspiring individuals who want to discover easy techniques and learn Modern Brush Calligraphy in 30 days or less. This is the secret step-by-step tool of writing your letters beautifully.
Aside from writing, she is also into making floral illustrations and the Wildflower Therapy: Adult Floral Coloring Guidebook (e-book version) is made to help you have an imaginative activity that calms down the mind and relaxes your spirit. This book is created specifically for adults who feel so young at heart and want to try out new hobby, enjoy creating beautiful floral artwork, express feelings through art therapy, explore emotions, reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem.

3. One-on-One Coach
It takes someone to believe in your capabilities. In Jasmine’s case: it’s a stranger and someone outside of her circle. An office colleague who asked her out for a coffee and requested to teach her calligraphy in preparation for her daughter’s upcoming birthday. Jasmine prepared a brush calligraphy starter kit and as the old saying goes, the rest is history.
Some of the students prefer a one-on-one coaching especially if they wanted this kind of activity due to addressing some personal concerns such as anxiety, restlessness, depression.
